Today i had an appointment before lunch i needed to attend to, after that i got going with UI experimentation, trying out different techniques and styles and finally settled on art deco. This will complement the opera theme quite nicely. So i started to look for ways making it into a semi-realistic style to fit the game, make an initial HUD asset and asking the artists if it was in their collective taste. i then sent it to the programmers for evaluation if the TGA format will work in tengine rather than DDS for compression purposes. while waiting for a reply i was looking into implementing new art deco fonts into my image editing program.
